Wollongong based psych-rockers Velvet Elevator prove they’re a band to be excited about on Electric Woman, the lead single to upcoming EP Prīncipium. Electric Woman is the band’s first release since evolving from a duo to a quartet due to logistical issues seeing original drummer Fletcher farewell the two-piece and see Anthony, Ben and Alex join singer and guitarist Angus.

The addition of a second guitarist and bass player to the mix sees Velvet Elevators adopt a heavier sound than on previously released Gone Away / Moonchild. Electric Woman is under three minutes of balls to the wall drumming, violent rhythms, stormy riffs, and a reverb-soaked shouted vocal.

While there is currently no release date for Prīncipium, Electric Woman, will suffice for now.
